Lead by Example

So here I am in school again!  We began last Thursday.  It is hard to believe I was just in New Hampshire a week or so ago.  I am sitting here trying to plan.  It is so hard for me to plan when I want to just go with the flow.  I know that many of the voices I heard at CMK08 were advocating student-centered classes.  I am realizing how hard that is and how it is against so much that traditional education entails.  Teachers are so accustomed to planning everything so far ahead, there is little time left for adaptation, flexibility, and regrouping.  I cannot help but think of Andrew Church’s 21st Century Teacher description.  I am trying to be that teacher.  Only time will tell!
